My Qualifications

I graduated with honors from the University of Maine with a degree in History and Sociology. I was also an honors student as I earned my master's degree in Community Counseling from the University of South Alabama. My elective courses included concentrations in women's studies, marriage and family, abnormal personality, and addiction.

My studies beyond university include holistic and spiritual healing that has involved obtaining certifications in hypnotherapy, energy work, herbology, reflexology, aromatherapy, and sex therapy. I became a Certified Enneagram Coach in March 2021.

My credentials include being a Supervising Licensed Professional Counselor, Master Addiction Counselor, and Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. My qualifications span more than 2,000 hours of continuing education, concentrating on addictive disorders, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and personality disorders. I have also provided many local and state workshops on topics ranging from the Mind/Body Connection to the Evidence-Based Treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder.
